Título: «Superconducting devices and memristors: From design to applications»
Abstract: superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) are macroscopic quantum objects which are capable of measuring a wide range of physical parameters with unequaled sensitivity. Memristors are pivotal for next-generation memory and neuromorphic computing. In this talk, I will discuss the development of high-temperature superconducting quantum magnetic sensors for ultra-sensitive detection in my lab, alongside innovations in laser direct writing techniques for fabricating nanoscale memristive systems and superconducting quantum devices. The synergy between superconductors and memristors opens new paradigms in neuromorphic computing, energy-efficient electronics, and next-generation sensing technologies.
Biography: Jianxin Lin obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tübingen, Germany in 2020. Currently, he serves as the Principal Investigator of the Quantum Precision Measurement and Intelligent Sensing Group (http://homepage.hrbeu.edu.cn/web/linjianxin) at Harbin Engineering University (Qingdao Campus). His research interests in quantum sensing, integrating materials, devices, and applications, focusing on superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs), micro/nanofabrication, and novel memristive devices.
