Zaragoza is at about 320 km. from Madrid and 290 km. from Barcelona. Its privileged geographical position favour its communication with the rest of Spain and the world and it can be easily reached by public transport. By air ZaragozaAirport is located 9 km. from the city. Currently there are regular flights to Frankfurt, Londonand Milan, as well as and domestic flights to Madrid, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Palma de Mallorca. Connections from the airport to the city are by bus, taxi and rental car.
By train Zaragoza is one of the main links in the rail network, and this is enhanced by the arrival of the AVE (High Speed Train) and Delicias Station as a passenger transport interchange. The High Speed Train currently runs between Madrid and Zaragoza. The Zaragoza-Barcelona line is operating at high speed in part of the routeonly. The trip takes between 3.5 and 4 hours and costs 10-12 €, either from Madrid (bus station: “Intercambiador Avenida de America”) or from Barcelona (bus station: “Barcelona Nord”).
