Module 4. - Characterization I: Physical-chemical techniques (6 ECTS credits)

Photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS and UPS). Auger Spectroscopy (AES). SANS techniques, X-ray and neutron diffraction. Mosbaüer. Techniques based on the use of sinchrotron radiation: XANES, EXAFS, and magnetic dichroism. Magnetic characterization of nanosystems (SQUID, VSM, MOKE). Hall probes and micro-SQUIDS. Porosimetry (BET). Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM). Raman laser spectrometry. FTIR, ATR and PM-IRRAS spectrometries. Electrochemical techniques.
