Module 3. - Assembly and fabrication of Nanostructures (6 ECTS credits)

Nanomaterials and nanostructures: nanoparticles, quantum dots, nanotubes, nanowires, nanosheets, nanocomposites, polymers, dendrimers, liposomes. Jerarchical structures and molecular self-assembly: supramolecular nanostructures, biochemical self-assembly, etc. Chirality in surfaces. Functionalization of nanostructures. Top-down techniques. Optical lithography. Electron Beam lithography. Ion Beam Lithography. Scanning Probe Lithography. Nanoimprint Lithography.
