María Jesús Gracia Salinas graduated in Veterinary Science in 1982 and obtained her PhD degree in 1990, both by the University of Zaragoza. She is devoted to universitary teaching since 1988 as a University Lecturer of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases at the Veterinary Faculty of Zaragoza. As a lecturer she collaborates in the subjects of Parasitology and Equines (Veterinary Degree) and Microbiology (Food Science and Technology Degree). Her research activity is centered in the study of arthropods of veterinary and human interest, parasitic problems in horses and apiculture and the study on the risk of transmission by Toxoplasma gondii.
