EU Careers Ambassadors Programme

The Personnel Selection Office of the European Institutions (EPSO/EU Careers), whose aim is to find and recruit the best people for the EU Institutions presents the EU Careers Ambassadors programme. As you may be aware, the EU Careers Ambassadors programme plays an important role in targeting talented young people on campus and making them aware of the vast variety of job opportunities in the EU Institutions. This programme has been running for the past 9 years over which time it has grown from strength to strength.

In the past years, the programme was represented by up to 150 Ambassadors a year across 28 EU countries. They have organised and participated in many different events and career fairs, as well as promoted EU Careers through dedicated Facebook and Instagram pages. You can find more information on the programme here: https://epso.europa.eu/job-opportunities/eu-careers-student-ambassadors_en#tab-0-3
Each university will be represented by a single Ambassador from the student body.

The selection process involves the following two stages:

Interested candidates complete an online application – from 22 February  to 25 March 2019

Shortlisted candidates complete a short online interview (April 2019 – further details will follow at a later stage).

The successful candidates will be notified in May the latest. All selected Ambassadors will attend a training session organised by EU Careers. The training for the Ambassador from your University will take place in Brussels on 28-29 September.
